 UNIFORM CIVIL CODE: MEANING 

The Universal Civil Code (UCC) is an all-inclusive legal structure applicable to all citizens irrespective of their faith, tribe, community, race or sex. It does not have any legal backing but it serves as a guiding principle for the government. The UCC covers inheritance laws; marriage laws; adoption laws; succession and divorce among other directive principles of state policy enshrined in the Indian constitution.

A Uniform Civil Code is important because it helps in fostering unity among the people and also ensures that justice prevails equally for all individuals within a country. This statement is multifaceted but I want you to understand one thing about its importance which is bringing different communities together so they can live as mates for life with each other without considering gender roles played by them towards one another during the marriage covenant-making process simply because these things are binding such that if done correctly might lead us into right direction where both partners will be happy forevermore according to their desires completely ignoring what others might say concerning such issue since those people cannot give birth like women do hence never experiencing labor pains at all. We should therefore embrace our differences and go beyond cultural or religious barriers so as to build oneness based on this belief of secularism which will ultimately result into creating more inclusive society where every member feels equal before law regardless his/her caste , creed etcetera . A uniform civil code becomes essential as India moves ahead not only because it is mandated by the constitution but also as a reflection for the strength that we have shown throughout history even up till now when we are still struggling towards achieving these goals set forth by democratic ideals, especially after independence.

The Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is currently being debated in Uttarakhand, a state that has mostly Hindus and is famously cultural. This frequently comes up with efforts to keep customs alive.
